  1. Well put Mike – put it in a letter and send it to them!!!
    Quickly!!!

  2. I have to admit that that first season fight between Peter and Sylar (in the version of the future that Hiro jumped to) got me excited, for all that we only saw 10 seconds of it.

Maybe the first arc will be aligning the Heroes with a Villian nemesis, and the second arc will be about how those adversaries square off. It doesn’t all have to be confrontational fisticuffs, but two or three kick-ass battles that last a couple minutes might be nice.

I thought Nightcrawler’s attack on the White House and Wolverine’s rampage in defense of the school some of the most wonderful, butterflies-in-the-belly moments of X-Men 2. The producers should pop that DVD in and get some ideas about pacing and effects for battles between superpowered humans.

And despite a few flaws, Hancock was a good movie, and the street fight between the two of them was what a superpowered throwdown should be. Maybe a little longish, but still damned fun.

Heroes producers? You all listening over there? I hope so…

  3. Yes. Kill the Cheerleader. Kill her dead. She can’t do evil. It fits her like a burlap sack.

  4. “The writers strike turned out to be a gift. A shorter season with a resolved story arc” – well, the first arc of the season last year was always going to be the same length. The writers’ strike just changed the ending so that the virus was not released. Originally, there were going to be three arcs last season. The strike first changed it to two and then finally just the one we saw. This season has at least two arcs.

They killed major characters last year and they might do so this year. I don’t think there is any reason to kill Claire. I think some fans are overly bloodthirsty. They have shown that Niki is dead from last season even if her lookalike “sister” is around this season. The potential for death is there – as seen in the vision from Mrs. Petrelli which has most of the regular characters dying.
